Establishment of Office in Hirabaag

One day, Seth Manikchandji told Babu Sheetal Prasad ji that in the session of the Mahasabha, the year-long Digambar Jain Tirthakshetra Committee was set up to function independently. We are still running the business of the committee from our shop as general ministers. Shikharji’s case of twenty-two Kothis has had to be fought by the committee, which has caused a debt of about eight thousand rupees. Currently, the work of the committee is being run by the Bombay Provincial Digambar Jain Sabha.

Development of Sammit Shikhar ji

During the tenure of Sahu Shanti Prasad ji, we had the most intense dispute with the Shwetambar brothers on the Shikharji area. In that crisis, the wisdom, influence, endurance and generosity of Shrimanahuji proved important as a boon for the committee and for the entire Digambara Jain society. At that time, the Shvetambaras had entered into a unilateral agreement with the Bihar government regarding the sacred Sammedachal mountain, with several types of influences. Sahu Shantiprasad Ji strongly opposed this.
